Our Beginning
Skills Unite was founded to create a solution for individuals and businesses who find it challenging to access the workshops, training courses and professional development activities that they need, simply because they are located outside of a major metropolitan center.
The Skills Unite founders have lived and worked in regional communities across Australia for their entire life. They understand the difficulties that can be faced when trying to source specialised, high-quality and affordable skill development opportunities in regional areas, and know that this can constrain productivity and growth.
With a desire to solve this problem and an awareness that many businesses and individuals in regional communities have common skill development needs, Skills Unite was founded to disrupt the status quo. We are proud of the fact that our unique business model and services now bring regional communities together in identifying skill development needs and enabling local delivery of quality skill development opportunities.
Our History
Launched in Queensland’s Bundaberg region in 2021, Skills Unite provides a unique brokerage service that is bringing localised delivery of workshops, training courses and professional development activities to individuals and businesses in regional communities across Australia.
Our roots are firmly embedded in regional Australia and our services are centered around making high-quality skill development opportunities more affordable and accessible for those who live outside of major metropolitan centers. At Skills Unite, everything that we do is designed around making it easier and more affordable for regional Australians to expand their knowledge and to grow their skills sets.
As we have designed and developed our range of services, Skills Unite has held great pride in the fact that we are supporting the growth and development of regional businesses and individuals and that we are contributing to increased industry productivity, strengthened regional economies and happier and more highly-skilled communities.
